The choir
Choir students gain more than musical skills—they develop social, emotional, and cognitive abilities that enrich their lives beyond rehearsals. In small groups of 5 to 15 peers, they learn vocal techniques, harmony, ear training, and music reading. Choir promotes teamwork, active listening, and collaboration as students work toward shared musical goals. Through performances, they build confidence, stage presence, and emotional expression. Singing in various languages enhances diction and cultural understanding. Rehearsals teach discipline, respect, and the value of practice. Exposure to diverse musical repertoires also deepens cultural appreciation and historical awareness, making choir a well-rounded and transformative experience.
